A house lockout usually happens at the worst time: late at night, in the rain, with groceries in hand or a pet inside. We send a technician to your door and open it using non-destructive methods first, so in most cases the lock keeps working once you are back in.
How a lockout call works
When you call, tell us your address, the type of door and lock if you know it, and whether anyone is inside. The technician checks the lock, picks or bypasses it, and confirms the door locks again before leaving. If a key broke in the cylinder or the lock is damaged, we can repair or replace it on the spot.
What we do
- Front doors, back doors and garage entry doors
- Apartments and condos
- Deadbolts and knob locks
- Broken key removal from the lock
- Rekeying right after entry if a key was lost or stolen
Before the technician arrives
Expect to show an ID or a document that shows you live at the address once the door is open. If your keys were lost rather than locked inside, ask about rekeying while we are there so the old keys stop working.

Frequently asked questions
Will you damage my door?
We start with non-destructive entry. Most residential lockouts open without any damage to the door or the lock.
Can you open the door if the key snapped in the lock?
Yes. We extract the broken piece, open the door and make sure the cylinder still works, or replace it if it does not.
Do you come out at night?
Yes. We answer around the clock, seven days a week, including holidays.
